Is this a heat protectant or just a styling aid?
It provides light smoothing but should be paired with a dedicated heat protectant if heat styling is used.

Can it be used on dry hair or only damp hair?
It works best on damp hair but can be lightly reapplied for touch-ups.

Will it build up if used daily?
Low buildup, but layering with other stylers may require periodic cleansing.
