    hair loss

It's normal to shed hair every day. But when more hair falls out than grows back, thinning, increased shedding, and reduced density can become more noticeable over time.

  • Understanding Hair Loss

  • Healthy hair depends on a natural cycle of growth, transition, and rest. When that cycle becomes disrupted, follicles may produce thinner, weaker hair - or stop producing new hair altogether. Understanding those changes helps explain why hair loss occurs and how we can support healthier growth over time.

    treatment with
intention

Understanding how hair loss develops allows us to take a more targeted approach. Treatments are designed to support the health of the follicle, encourage regrowth, and improve the consistency of the growth cycle. Our goal is to create fuller, stronger, and more resilient hair over time.

  • Genetics is the most common driver (androgenetic alopecia in both men and women). Other causes include hormonal shifts (pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, thyroid), stress (telogen effluvium), nutritional gaps, scalp inflammation, and certain medications. Identifying the cause matters — treatment for genetic thinning looks different from treatment for postpartum shedding.

PRF (platelet-rich fibrin) is an advanced regenerative treatment that uses a small sample of your own blood to create a concentrated solution of platelets, growth factors, and fibrin. When injected into the scalp, PRF supports follicle health and encourages natural hair growth. The fibrin matrix releases growth factors gradually over time, helping provide ongoing support to the hair follicle

For many guests with early-to-moderate hair thinning, PRF can help reduce shedding and support thicker, healthier-looking hair over time. It works best when hair follicles are still active but underperforming, rather than permanently dormant or scarred. During your consultation, your provider will determine whether PRF is the right treatment based on your pattern of hair loss and goals.

Most guests begin with a series of three to four treatments spaced four to six weeks apart, followed by maintenance treatments every six to twelve months based on their results and goals. Your provider will create a personalized treatment plan based on your scalp, hair density, and stage of hair loss.

Yes. Because PRF uses your own blood, there's minimal risk of allergic reaction or rejection. The treatment involves a small blood draw followed by injections into the scalp. Most guests experience mild tenderness, redness, or swelling that resolves within a day or two. Your provider will review your medical history and provide personalized pre- and post-treatment instructions.

Topical minoxidil (Rogaine) — well-studied, works for both men and women. Scalp treatments and microneedling to improve scalp health. Supplements like nutrafol or viviscal in some cases. Prescription options (finasteride, spironolactone) where appropriate. Your provider will combine the tools that fit your specific cause of loss, not push a single answer.

Before your treatment, your provider may recommend avoiding certain blood-thinning medications or supplements if medically appropriate. Arrive well hydrated and eat a meal beforehand, since the treatment begins with a small blood draw. After your appointment, you may experience mild scalp tenderness for a day or two. Your provider will review all post-treatment instructions and let you know when you can resume your normal hair care routine and activities.
