  •
  • Tape-in, hand-tied wefts, beaded wefts, and halo extensions depending on location and stylist specialty. Each method has a different application process, longevity, and maintenance cycle. Your stylist will recommend the right method based on your hair density, your lifestyle, and the look you're after.

The hair itself: six to twelve months with good care. The application: tape-ins need to be moved every six to eight weeks. Hand-tied and beaded wefts every six to ten weeks. Halos last as long as the hair does because they're not bonded — they sit on top. Each method has a maintenance rhythm; we'll set yours.

When applied and maintained correctly, no. Damage typically comes from extensions left in too long, improper hair care, or extensions that are too heavy for the natural hair to support. Our stylists weight extensions to your hair's density and check the bond at every fill. If your hair isn't a candidate, we say so before applying.

Sulfate-free shampoo, gentle drying, no oil-based products at the bond, brush from the ends up, and protect your hair when you sleep (silk pillowcase or loose braid). Avoid heavy heat styling on the bond area. Your stylist will send you home with the specific routine for your method.

Yes — many guests color their natural hair while extensions are in, especially for root touch-ups. Your colorist will protect the extensions and apply color only where it's safe. Full lightening services through extensions are harder; many guests sequence color before extensions for that reason.

Extensions are a longer-term investment — the cost includes the hair itself plus the application labor. Pricing varies by method, hair length, and how much hair is used. Most guests do a complimentary consultation first to understand the full picture before committing. We'd rather be transparent up front.
