frequently asked questions

  • Spa

  • Yes — with a few guidelines that keep the space calm and safe for every guest. What's available depends on the guest's age and the service:

    • Massage: Guests 15 to 17 may book the Signature Massage with a same-gender therapist, in swimwear or full clothing. We don't offer massages for guests under 15.
    • Facials and waxing: Guests 12 to 17 may receive facials and facial or arm waxing. We don't offer facials or waxing for guests under 12, and waxing below the waist isn't available for any guest 17 or under.
    • Nails: Guests 5 to 7 may receive a buff + go or polish change; from age 7, a manicure or pedicure is available with an adult present (pedicure eligibility depends on height).
    • Haircuts: Clipper or scissor cuts for guests 5 and older.

For massage, facials, and waxing, a parent or guardian must stay on site for the full reservation, and written consent is required before the service begins. For nail and salon services, guests 16 and older may come on their own; younger guests need an adult with them. Babies, toddlers, and children can't be in the treatment area or lounge during a service — an accompanying adult can wait with them in the lobby. To book a service for a minor, please call our reservations team.

No. Alcohol thins the blood, dulls sensitivity, and increases the risk of inflammation or injury during massage, facials, or waxing. We can't perform these services for anyone who has consumed alcohol beforehand. If a guest appears intoxicated on arrival, we'll reschedule and apply the standard cancellation fee. This is for your safety and ours.

Yes. We were founded on a clean philosophy — nontoxic ingredients in our products, professional-grade lines we've vetted ourselves, and treatment protocols that prioritize what's actually good for your body.

Keep phones on silent or off in the spa, and step outside for calls. Laptops aren't welcome in our lounge — we ask that the space stay device-light so everyone can decompress. You're welcome to use a laptop during a pedicure if you'd like. The spaces between treatments are designed to be quiet — your nervous system thanks you for it.

Not at all — reservations are open to everyone. Our milk + honey Wellness Membership adds savings on each visit, a Wellness Bank that rolls over and never expires, and other exclusive perks — and if you visit a few times a year, it often pays for itself. Yes. When you reserve, please tell us about any medical conditions, allergies, recent surgeries, pregnancy, high blood pressure, or heart conditions. Yes. milk + honey gift cards work at every location — across spa, medSPA, and salon services, plus products purchased in location. You can buy them online or at the front desk in any amount, have them delivered digitally or printed, and they never expire. One note: gift cards can't be redeemed for products purchased online. It's not — but it's always appreciated. For spa and salon services, gratuity is customary; most guests tip around 20% of the service price. You can add it at checkout, and your provider receives it directly. Gratuity isn't expected for medSPA treatments, in line with standard medical aesthetic practices.

Locations have a calm lounge with hot tea, fruit-infused water, and light snacks. Locker rooms include showers, robes and slippers, hair dryers, hair ties, towels, and some of our favorite products. Showers carry milk + honey body wash and Davines hair care. The Culver City, Brentwood, Gold Coast, River Oaks, Clearfork, 2nd Street District, The Loren, and Arboretum Market locations offer a steam shower. South Lamar is our only location without a locker room or lounge.

We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, and Google Pay at every location. We don't accept personal checks. Our Houston River Oaks location accepts cash in exact change; all other locations are cashless and unable to make change.

  • Massage

  • Yes — beginning at 13 weeks. We don't perform massage during the first 12 weeks of pregnancy, but from 13 weeks on, you can receive our Prenatal Massage with a prenatal-certified therapist. You'll be positioned either side-lying or supported face-down on a pregnancy bolster, with pressure and oils adjusted for what's safe in pregnancy, plus magnesium to ease tension.

Yes — guests aged 15 to 17 may reserve select services with a same-gender therapist. Swimwear or full clothing is required, and a parent or guardian must stay on site for the full reservation and provide written consent. We don't perform massages for guests younger than 15. To reserve for a minor, please call our reservations team.

Deep tissue uses slower, more focused pressure to address chronic tension. While it can feel more intense than a relaxation massage, it shouldn't be painful. Your therapist will adjust the pressure based on your comfort level throughout the service.

It depends on what you're working on. For general stress and maintenance, once a month is a sweet spot. If you're managing chronic tension, recovering from training, or processing a high-stress season, every two weeks helps. Our Wellness Members tend to land on a monthly cadence — it's the most sustainable rhythm we see and our membership program offers up to 20% off every service.

If you tend toward puffiness or bloating, or just feel sluggish and want to support your body's natural circulation, many guests find it worthwhile. Our lymphatic massage combines gentle manual techniques to encourage fluid movement through the lymphatic system. It's subtle, light-pressure work — many guests leave feeling lighter and less puffy. Please note: this is a wellness treatment, not a medical or post-surgical service. We don't offer post-surgical lymphatic drainage or compression garments. If you're recovering from surgery, please follow your provider's guidance.

Signature (Swedish), deep tissue, hot stone, sports, prenatal, CBD, lymphatic, express, and couples massage. Most reservations are 60 or 90 minutes, but you can extend any massage with a 15-minute enhancement. Our therapists are trained across multiple modalities and will tailor the work to what your body needs that day.

It's appreciated but never expected. For spa services, gratuity is customary; most guests tip around 20% of the service price. You can add it at checkout, and your provider receives it directly.

Whatever feels comfortable. Guests undress to their comfort level, and if you'd prefer to keep your undergarments on, that's completely fine — your comfort comes first. You'll be properly draped throughout your service, with only the area being worked on uncovered at a time. All of our therapists are trained in draping protocols to protect your privacy. For certain body treatments, more than one area may be undraped at once; your therapist will walk you through what to expect beforehand. You can change into a robe and store your belongings in the locker room before your service. Once you're in the treatment room, your therapist will step out while you settle in, and return once you're ready.

Signature (Swedish) is broad and flowing — long strokes, light to medium pressure, the kind of session you sink into. Deep tissue goes deeper into muscle and connective tissue, but it's targeted rather than full body: your therapist concentrates firm, intentional pressure on the areas that need it — chronic tension and knots, athletic and post-workout recovery, stiffness and limited range of motion, or the postural tightness that builds from desk and screen time — while keeping the rest of the session at a medium to firm pressure. It can also support recovery from older strains, though it isn't a substitute for medical care.

  • Facial

  • At milk + honey, facials start at $135 for a 45-minute Express Facial and go up to $370 for the Ultimate HydraFacial. Most guests land somewhere between $165 and $250 depending on the service and any enhancements added.

A few things affect the price: session length, the technology involved (HydraFacial and microcurrent services are priced higher than classic facials), and any boosters or add-ons selected. A Signature Facial starts at $165 for 60 minutes. A Signature HydraFacial starts at $200 for 30 minutes.

If facials are part of your regular self-care routine, a milk + honey Wellness Membership is worth a look. Members build a Wellness Bank with every visit, and enjoy year-round perks like a guest pass, birthday offers, and rewards on every purchase.

Every four to six weeks is the standard recommendation, and there's a reason for it. That timeframe aligns with your skin's natural cell turnover cycle, so each session builds on the last rather than always starting from scratch.

If you're working toward something specific, clearing acne, addressing hyperpigmentation, or rehydrating tired skin, more frequent sessions are often recommended in the beginning. If your skin is generally healthy and you're focused on maintenance, every six to eight weeks works well.

A back facial applies the same principles as a facial to the skin on your back: cleansing, exfoliation, extraction where needed, and a targeted treatment mask based on what the skin needs. It's one of the most commonly neglected areas in most skincare routines, partly because it's hard to see and even harder to reach!

The back is also prone to congestion and breakouts, especially for anyone who wears sunscreen daily, spends time sweating outdoors, or sits against gym equipment. The buildup from all of that has nowhere to go without professional exfoliation and extraction.

At milk + honey, we offer two options: a Back Facial - a 30-minute treatment covering cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, and hydration - and a HydraFacial for the Back, which brings the full HydraFacial technology to the back for a deeper cleanse and more intensive treatment. Both are worth scheduling before an event, a beach trip, or simply as part of a more complete approach to skincare. We use the same clean, non-toxic products on the back that we use on the face.

A chemical peel is a controlled exfoliation treatment that uses acid-based formulas to remove damaged and dead skin from the surface, prompting the skin to renew from below. The strength and intensity are adjusted based on your skin type, tolerance, and what you're trying to address.

At milk + honey, Our estheticians are professionally trained and certified to perform PCA Skin chemical peels. For more advanced peel treatments, our Medical Providers and Advanced Aestheticians are additionally trained and certified to perform VI Peels.. Your esthetician selects the right blend for your skin, which might target acne, aging, hyperpigmentation, or texture depending on your concerns.

Most guests experience some flaking or mild tightness in the days following a peel. That's the renewal process working. Every PCA Skin Peel at milk + honey includes a post-care kit to support the healing process. If you are unsure if you are a good candidate for this service, we offer complimentary skin consultations with our esthetics team to match you with a treatment best suited for you.

Dermaplaning is a manual exfoliation treatment where a licensed esthetician uses a sterile surgical scalpel to gently remove the outermost layer of dead skin cells and fine facial hair. It's a painless, precise technique that leaves skin noticeably smoother immediately after.

The benefits go beyond texture. By removing dead skin cells and fine facial hair, dermaplaning enhances the absorption of skincare products, creates a more seamless makeup application, and leaves the complexion looking brighter, smoother, and more radiant. It's also one of the few exfoliation methods that's safe during pregnancy, since no acids or actives are required.

At milk + honey, dermaplaning is available as a standalone 30-minute Express Dermaplaning or combined with a PCA Skin peel in our Advanced Dermaplaning + Peel for more significant resurfacing results. Dermaplaning facial are worth adding to your regular rotation if you wear makeup often, feel like your skincare products aren't absorbing the way they should, or simply want a fresher surface texture.

At its core, it's a deep cleanse, exfoliation, and targeted treatment session, but the real value is in the consultation that shapes what happens.

At milk + honey, every facial starts with an assessment. Your esthetician looks at your skin, asks about your concerns and lifestyle, and builds the session around what your skin actually needs that day. The products we use are clean and non-toxic, chosen to work with your skin rather than overload it. What happens in the next 45 to 90 minutes is specific to you.

The effects build over time. Regular facials support your skin's natural cell turnover, improve how well your products absorb at home, and give an expert the chance to catch changes before they become harder to address. If you've been thinking about booking a facial near you, our Signature Facial is the right place to start.

A HydraFacial is a machine-assisted facial that uses vortex technology to cleanse, extract, and infuse the skin with hydration in a single continuous treatment. Rather than relying solely on manual technique, the HydraFacial device creates a suction that pulls congestion out of pores while simultaneously delivering targeted serums into the skin.

The result is a treatment that covers several concerns at once: dullness, congestion, dehydration, fine lines, and uneven texture. With this treatment there’s no downtime and visible improvement after a single session. It's one of the most requested facial treatments we offer because the results are immediate and consistent across skin types.

At milk + honey, we offer four service options for HydraFacial: Signature, Deluxe, Platinum, and Ultimate. We always recommend starting with Platinum or ultimate to get the most immediate results then utilizing the signature and deluxe service for general maintenance. Each builds on the last with targeted boosters, LED light therapy, and lymphatic drainage.

Our Signature Facial is a fully customized 60-minute facial. There's no fixed protocol. Your esthetician assesses your skin at the start of the session and selects the cleansers, exfoliants, serums, and treatments that fit what your skin your skin needs that day.

The service includes cleansing, exfoliation, extractions where needed, a targeted treatment, and a mask, all slected around your skin type and current concerns. It's the most popular starting point for first-time guests.

If you are unsure what service is right for you, the Signature Facial is great option. Your esthetician will walk you through what they're observing during the session and leave you with clear recommendations for what comes next, both in-spa and at home.

  • Beauty

  • Brow lamination shapes the hairs you already have — best for guests with full brows who want them more lifted or controlled. Microblading deposits pigment to fill in sparse areas — best for guests with thin or patchy brows. Many guests combine both: lamination for shape, light tinting or microblading for depth.

Often, yes. Brow shaping plus a lash tint, a Brazilian plus a brow wax, lash extensions plus a brow lamination — all common combinations. A few services can't be done in the same visit (like waxing and certain peels), but for most beauty work we can sequence things so you get more done in one stop. If you're not sure what can be combined, just ask our reservations team.

Yes — most guests do. Adding a tint deepens your brow color so the new lifted shape reads even more clearly. We can also add a wax so the shape sits exactly where you want it. The full combination usually runs about an hour.

Yes, with a tampon or menstrual cup. Just know that skin tends to be more sensitive in the days before and during your period — many guests prefer to wait a few days. Let your esthetician know either way.

Skip retinoids on the area being waxed for five to seven days before your reservation. Retinoids thin the skin's surface, and waxing on retinoid-treated skin can lift more than hair — it can lift skin. This applies to prescription retinoids and over-the-counter retinol both. Your esthetician will ask during your consultation.

Yes — most waxing is safe during pregnancy, including Brazilian. Skin can be more sensitive during pregnancy, so your esthetician may slow the pacing and use gentler post-wax products. Let us know during your consultation.

We don't recommend it. Most mascara contains oils that break down the adhesive bond, and removing mascara puts mechanical stress on the extensions. If you want extra drama for an event, your lash artist can apply a temporary extension-safe mascara during your fill.

For waxing, Stip retinoids on the area for five to seven days, hair should be about a quarter-inch long, avoid heavy exfoliation 24 hours before, and don't tan or sunbathe the area the day of. For lash work, come with clean lashes, no mascara or oily eye products.

When applied by a trained artist and cared for properly, extensions are meant to protect your natural lashes, not harm them. Our lash artists assess your lashes and weight every extension to what they can comfortably support. We'll also walk you through aftercare — gentle cleansing, no pulling, and letting extensions shed naturally — so your natural lashes stay healthy between fills.

It's uncomfortable, especially the first time, but it shouldn't be unbearable. Pain decreases significantly with regular waxing — by your second or third visit, most guests describe it as manageable. Coming in well-hydrated, avoiding caffeine that morning, and not waxing right before or during your period all help.

Not when performed by skilled providers with professional formulas. The processing solutions are formulated to reshape the lash safely with controlled timing. We use professional formulations and our lash artists watch the timing closely — the work is precise.

Keep the brows dry for the first 24 hours. Avoid hot showers, sweating, retinoids, and oil-based products on the brows for 48 hours. Brush them up gently each morning with the spoolie we send you home with. Use a brow serum to extend results.

Avoid oil-based products around your eyes. Use a lash cleanser daily to keep the lash line clean. Skip waterproof mascara and oil-based eye makeup remover. Sleep on your back or side when you can. Brush gently each morning with the spoolie we send you home with. The cleaner the lash line, the longer the set lasts.

Keep lashes dry for 24 hours — no water, steam, or eye makeup. After that, daily care is simple: gentle cleansing, no rubbing, and a lash serum. Avoid sleeping with your face pressed into the pillow if you can — flat lashes don't sit as lifted.

Avoid heat for 24 hours — no hot showers, saunas, workouts, sun. Skip tight clothing, fragranced products, and exfoliants for two days. Start gentle exfoliation on day three to prevent ingrowns. We recommend a daily ingrown-hair serum if you're prone to bumps. Cooling, calming products are your friend the first night.

Gentle exfoliation starting 48 hours after a wax — a body scrub or chemical exfoliant works. An ingrown-hair serum applied daily is the next layer. Avoid super-tight clothing the first 48 hours. Hydration matters too — well-moisturized skin sheds more evenly. We carry products that handle this end to end.

Ten to fifteen minutes — enough time to fill out any intake forms and settle in. Most waxing services run 15 to 45 minutes depending on the area. Larger services like full-body or full-leg waxes need more buffer; we'll confirm at booking.

It comes down to what goes on your skin and who's doing the work. We use clean wax formulations and pigments — no synthetic dyes or heavy fragrance — and our estheticians are trained across modalities, not just a single technique. Every reservation begins with a real consultation, so the work is shaped around you.

A full set typically lasts five to six weeks before the last extension sheds. Most guests come in for fills every two to three weeks to maintain a consistently full look. Your shedding cycle is determined by your natural lash cycle, which is roughly six to eight weeks per lash.

Three to four weeks for most guests. In the beginning, you may need to come in a bit more often as your hair settles into a cycle. With regular waxing, growth tends to slow and become finer — and most settle into a four-to-six-week routine.

Six to eight weeks for most guests. The lift relaxes gradually as your lashes shed and regrow on their natural cycle. Many guests pair the lift with a tint to extend the visual effect — darker lashes read fuller for longer.

Six to eight weeks for most guests, depending on your hair regrowth and how you care for the brows at home. The lamination relaxes gradually rather than dropping all at once — your brows soften back to their natural shape over the cycle, not suddenly.

About a quarter-inch — roughly two weeks of growth from a previous wax, or three to four weeks from a shave. Hair that's too short won't lift cleanly; hair that's too long can be more uncomfortable. We trim if needed at your reservation, but the right length makes the work cleaner and faster.

Waxing: every four to six weeks. Brow lamination: every six to eight weeks. Brow and lash tints: every four weeks. Lash extensions: every two to three weeks for fills. Lash lifts: every six to eight weeks. Your provider will dial in the cadence that works for your hair growth and lifestyle.

Yes. We use professional-grade products with controlled processing times. Skin sensitivity tests are available on request. Guests with active eczema, retinoid use in the brow area, or recent chemical treatments should consult with their provider.

For most areas, yes — over time. Waxing removes hair at the follicle, so regrowth is finer and slower than shaving. Shaving cuts hair flat at the surface, which creates a more visible regrowth pattern. Waxing also exfoliates the skin slightly with each session. The trade-off is more discomfort and the need to wait for growth.

Lash extensions add length and density — they sit on top of your natural lash and need fills every two to three weeks. A lash lift works with what you already have — no fills, no oil restrictions, lower maintenance. If your natural lashes are healthy and you want the lifted look, the lift is often the better starting point.

Lash extensions are individual synthetic or silk lashes applied one at a time to your natural lashes with a medical-grade adhesive. The full set takes 90 to 120 minutes. Done well, they look like longer, fuller versions of your own lashes — not stage lashes. We offer classic, hybrid, and volume sets.

A tint darkens your natural lashes for two to four weeks, making them look fuller without mascara. We use vegetable-based dye that's safe for use around the eye. Many guests pair the tint with a lift in one reservation — the combination lasts the longest and reads the most dramatic.

A lash lift is a chemical service that curls your natural lashes upward from the base, creating a lifted, mascara-without-mascara look. The service runs 45 to 60 minutes and lasts six to eight weeks. It's the right choice for guests who want longer-looking lashes without the maintenance of extensions.

Brow lamination is a chemical service that softens and reshapes the hairs of your brows so they sit in a lifted, fuller position. The result is the fluffy, brushed-up brow that's hard to create with grooming alone. The service runs about 45 minutes and lasts six to eight weeks.

Full body. Face (brows, lip, chin, full face), arms, underarms, chest, back, stomach, legs (full or half), Brazilian and bikini, and intimate waxing. We use clean wax formulations — hard wax for sensitive areas, soft strip wax for larger surfaces. Every esthetician is trained across the full menu.

Beauty services cover waxing (full body, including Brazilian and bikini), lash work (extensions, lifts, tints), and brow services (lamination, tints, and waxing). Every service is performed by a licensed esthetician trained in the specific technique. Most beauty services run 15 to 75 minutes.

A bikini wax removes the hair outside what an underwear line would cover. A Brazilian removes most or all of the hair in the bikini area, depending on the version you request. We can do anything between full removal and a small landing strip — your esthetician will confirm what you want before starting.

Classic is one extension per natural lash — the most natural look. Volume uses fans of multiple thin extensions per natural lash — fuller, fluffier, more dramatic. Hybrid is a mix of both, giving you texture and depth. Your lash artist will help you pick based on your natural lash density and the look you're after.

Yes. Our reservations team matches you with a provider for your service — and if you have a preference, just let us know.

  • medSPA

  • Some yes, some no. Newer devices — including Moxi and some laser hair removal systems — are designed to be safer for darker skin. Your provider will assess your skin type honestly and decline treatments that aren't safe. We don't push devices that don't fit your skin.

PRP and PRF are exceptionally safe — they use your own blood, so there's no risk of allergic reaction or rejection. The procedure involves a small blood draw and either injection or topical application. Exosomes have been studied for several years but the field is still evolving — we use them in cases where the existing evidence supports the application, not as a default.

Our medical providers—including nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and registered nurses—are highly trained and board-certified where applicable. Each brings a unique background and skill set to medSPA, contributing to a well-rounded and experienced team.

All of our providers have advanced training in aesthetic medicine and are committed to delivering natural, refined results while supporting each patient’s individual skin journey.

Yes. Treatments like HydraFacial, dermaplaning, chemical peels, microcurrent, and LED offer real benefits — from improving cell turnover and supporting collagen to enhancing tone and smoothing texture. When done consistently — every four to six weeks — they help optimize how your skin functions over time. On their own, they maintain; when combined with medical-grade skincare or advanced aesthetic treatments, they build and compound results.

Hyaluronic acid filler — the most common family — can be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase. It works within hours to days. Biostimulators (Sculptra, Radiesse) cannot be dissolved the same way. This is one of many reasons we recommend starting conservative — you can always add more, but reversing the wrong filler is harder.

Yes. Many guests choose to combine treatments — such as injectables with a facial, or microneedling with PRF — for enhanced results. Some combinations are designed to work together, while others work better spaced out over time. Your provider will guide both your visit and your long-term plan, sequencing treatments so each one works as well as it can.

Yes. When done thoughtfully, anti-aging treatments should look natural. The goal isn't to change how you look, but to restore balance, soften lines, and support your skin over time.

Our approach focuses on subtle, personalized treatments that enhance your natural features rather than overcorrect them — so you look refreshed, like yourself, without anyone being able to pinpoint exactly what's changed.

Absolutely. In aesthetics, consistency matters. Once you find your perfect fit, they get to know your face, your skin, what’s worked, and how your results evolve over time. This continuity allows for a more refined, long-term approach, where you and your provider can work together to achieve and maintain the best results.

Yes. Every new medSPA guest begins with a complimentary consultation, typically lasting up to 45 minutes. This is an opportunity for us to get to know you, your skin, your concerns, and your goals. During your consultation, your provider will review your medical history, current skincare routine, and areas of focus, then develop a tailored treatment plan. Based on your treatment plan and availability, services may be completed the same day or scheduled for a future date.

Most fillers contain lidocaine, which numbs as the injection progresses. We also apply topical numbing for sensitive areas like lips. Most guests describe the sensation as a pinch followed by pressure — manageable, not severe. After: some pressure and swelling, occasional bruising for a few days.

Yes — for permanent reduction. Most guests need six to eight sessions to clear the active hair cycle, with annual maintenance touch-ups. Results are best on darker hair against lighter skin, but newer devices work on more skin tones and hair colors than older ones. Your provider will assess at consultation.

It's uncomfortable, not painful. We apply topical numbing for 15 to 20 minutes before treatment — by the time the device runs, sensation is minimal. Most guests describe it as a series of small vibrations, with more sensation around bony areas (forehead, jaw). The session itself takes 20 to 30 minutes after numbing.

For many guests with early-to-moderate hair thinning, PRF can help reduce shedding and support thicker, healthier-looking hair over time. It works best when hair follicles are still active but underperforming, rather than permanently dormant or scarred. During your consultation, your provider will determine whether PRF is the right treatment based on your pattern of hair loss and goals.

A little preparation helps you get the best results, since these treatments use your body's own natural growth factors. Staying well-hydrated is key — drink plenty of water for at least 72 hours before your treatment, and maintain a balanced, nutritious diet.

To minimize bruising and support platelet function, avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, NSAIDs, fish oil, vitamin E, and certain supplements for 7 to 10 days before treatment. Also avoid alcohol for at least 48 hours beforehand (and red wine for several days), and limit smoking, as it can affect healing and results. Acetaminophen (Tylenol) may be used if needed.

Let your provider know about any medications you're taking — especially blood thinners or beta-blockers — as well as any recent changes to your health history. Continue taking prescribed medications as directed unless your physician advises otherwise.

On the day of your treatment, eat a light, nutritious meal, limit caffeine, and drink at least 16 to 20 oz of water beforehand to support the blood draw. If your treatment is on your face, please arrive with clean, makeup-free skin. For PRF hair restoration, please wash your hair thoroughly with your regular shampoo the morning of your treatment.

We recommend scheduling your treatment at least two weeks before any major events, as mild swelling or bruising may occur and healing time can vary. PRF and EZ Gel treatments aren't recommended if you're pregnant, breastfeeding, have certain blood disorders, or are currently taking Accutane.

Choosing a provider is about finding the right fit. Look for licensed medical professionals who specialize in aesthetics, have a strong understanding of facial anatomy, and prioritize safety and natural-looking results.

Equally important is their approach. Your provider should take the time to understand your goals, clearly explain your options, and recommend treatments tailored to you — not one-size-fits-all.

At milk + honey medSPA, our experienced medical providers focus on safe, effective, and refined results, so you can feel confident you're in good hands at any of our locations.

A little preparation helps you get the best results. Avoid prolonged sun exposure, tanning, and sunburn for at least two weeks before your treatment, and wear SPF daily. Treatment can't be performed on recently tanned or sunburned skin, including from sunless tanners.

Your skin should be healthy and free of irritation, peeling, or active infections. If you're prone to cold sores, let your provider know in advance, as a preventative antiviral may be recommended. Stop using retinols, exfoliants, and other active skincare products five to seven days before your treatment, and avoid waxing, laser treatments, or hair removal in the treatment area for at least one week. If shaving is needed, please do so at least 24 hours beforehand.

Let your provider know if you've taken Accutane within the past six months, or if you're taking medications or have conditions that may affect light sensitivity or healing. Please arrive with clean, makeup-free skin.

Healing time can vary, so we recommend planning ahead if you have an upcoming event within two to four weeks of treatment. If you're pregnant or breastfeeding, BBL and Moxi aren't recommended without first consulting your provider.

To prepare for your neuromodulator treatment, avoid alcohol and smoking for at least 24 hours beforehand, as they may increase the risk of bruising.

In the week leading up to your treatment, avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements — such as aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, vitamin E, and herbal products — unless prescribed by your physician. Please continue all medications as directed, and let your provider know about any current or recent antibiotic use, as certain medications may affect treatment outcomes.

If you have an upcoming event within two weeks of your treatment, we recommend planning ahead, as mild swelling or bruising can occur and healing time can vary.

We're unable to perform this treatment if you're pregnant or breastfeeding. Your provider will review your medical history to make sure the treatment is safe and appropriate for you.

A little preparation helps you get the best results and lowers the risk of complications. Please reschedule if you've had — or plan to have — dental work, vaccinations, recent illness, or surgery within two weeks of your treatment. If you have a major event within two weeks afterward, we recommend planning ahead, as swelling or bruising may occur.

In the week leading up to your treatment, avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, NSAIDs, and certain supplements — such as fish oil, vitamin E, and herbal products — as they may increase the likelihood of bruising (acetaminophen/Tylenol is fine if needed). Also avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours beforehand.

If you're taking blood-thinning medications, please discuss this with your provider in advance, as they may affect your treatment plan. If you're prone to cold sores, let your provider know, as a preventative antiviral may be recommended.

We're unable to perform this treatment if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, have known allergies to product components, or have active skin concerns such as open wounds in the treatment area. Your provider will review your medical history and medications to make sure the treatment is safe and appropriate for you.

Stop using retinols, exfoliants, and other active skincare products five to seven days before.

Avoid waxing, laser treatments, or hair removal in the treatment area for at least one week, and allow at least 24 to 48 hours after shaving so your skin is calm and free of irritation.

If you're prone to cold sores, let your provider know in advance, as a preventative antiviral may be recommended. Also tell your provider about any recent changes to your health or medications, including Accutane use within the past six months, as this may affect your eligibility for treatment.

Please arrive with clean, makeup-free skin, and plan ahead if you have an upcoming event, as healing time can vary. Gold Infusion isn't recommended if you're pregnant or breastfeeding.

The VI Peel is a safe, effective treatment for most guests, and a little preparation helps you get the best results.

In the week leading up to your treatment, avoid active skincare products such as retinoids, exfoliating acids (AHAs/BHAs), benzoyl peroxide, and any at-home exfoliation. Also avoid waxing, laser hair removal, or other hair removal in the area, and hold off on other resurfacing treatments like microneedling, lasers, or chemical peels. Keep your skin hydrated with a gentle moisturizer.

On the day of your treatment, please arrive with clean, makeup-free skin and let your provider know about any recent changes to your skincare routine, medications, or overall health. If you have a history of cold sores, tell your provider in advance, as a preventative antiviral may be recommended.

The VI Peel isn't recommended if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, have certain allergies (including aspirin, hydroquinone, or phenol), have used Accutane within the past six months, or have active skin infections or conditions in the treatment area. Your provider will review your medical history to make sure the treatment is safe and appropriate for you.

To prepare for your treatment, avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, NSAIDs, and certain supplements — such as fish oil, vitamin E, and herbal products — for one week beforehand, as they may increase bruising (acetaminophen/Tylenol is fine if needed). Please don't discontinue any prescribed medications without consulting your physician. If you're currently taking Accutane or have taken it within the past six months, or if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, we're unable to perform this treatment.

Stop using retinols, exfoliants, and other active skincare products five to seven days before your treatment, and avoid waxing, laser treatments, or hair removal in the treatment area for at least one week. Avoid sun exposure, tanning, or sunburn for at least two weeks beforehand — treatment can't be performed on irritated or recently tanned skin. If you're prone to cold sores, please let your provider know, as a preventative antiviral may be recommended.

Please arrive with clean, makeup-free skin, and plan ahead if you have an upcoming event, since healing time can vary.

Before your treatment, your provider may recommend avoiding certain blood-thinning medications or supplements if medically appropriate. Arrive well hydrated and eat a meal beforehand, since the treatment begins with a small blood draw. After your appointment, you may experience mild scalp tenderness for a day or two. Your provider will review all post-treatment instructions and let you know when you can resume your normal hair care routine and activities.

Neuromodulators like Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin typically last three to four months for most guests. Some people metabolize the product more quickly — such as frequent exercisers, those receiving smaller doses, or anyone with more active facial movement — while others see longer-lasting results.

Your provider will track how your results hold over time and can adjust dosing, placement, or product selection to maintain and refine them.

Six to eighteen months, depending on the product and the area. Lip filler typically lasts six to twelve months. Cheek and structural filler lasts twelve to eighteen months. Areas that move more (lips) metabolize filler faster than areas that don't (cheeks). Your provider will set realistic expectations during consultation.

BBL for skin: three to five sessions, four to six weeks apart, then annual maintenance. Moxi: two to four sessions, four weeks apart. Your provider will define your specific series based on the device, the goal, and how your skin responds.

Three to six sessions, spaced four to six weeks apart, then maintenance every six to twelve months. Texture and pore size show change quickly. Acne scarring, deeper lines, and major resurfacing need a longer series. Your provider will assess your goals at consultation and define the right number.

Most guests begin with a series of three to four treatments spaced four to six weeks apart, followed by maintenance treatments every six to twelve months based on their results and goals. Your provider will create a personalized treatment plan based on your scalp, hair density, and stage of hair loss.

Neuromodulators are priced per unit, while dermal fillers and Sculptra are priced per syringe or vial. Pricing may vary based on the product selected, as well as your goals and treatment plan. We keep our pricing transparent, so you feel fully informed as you plan your treatments. Your provider will review all pricing with you during your consultation — so you have full clarity before you decide.

Prices start from $550 for a BBL photofacial (face area) and will vary based on consultation and an individual’s treatment areas.

Pricing varies based on the treatment, the amount and type of product used, and the number of sessions needed. Injectables are priced per unit, syringe, or vial, while laser treatments, chemical peels, and device-based treatments are priced per session or as part of a package. We'll review all pricing with you during your consultation — so you have full clarity before you decide.

Neuromodulators typically begin to take effect within three to five days, with full results visible at around two weeks. Hyaluronic acid fillers provide immediate results, with any mild swelling settling within one to two weeks. Sculptra works more gradually, with results developing over three to six months as collagen production increases.

For neuromodulators and dermal fillers, if you haven't seen your desired results after 14 days, additional treatment may be recommended. Any touch-ups or follow-up treatments are priced at your provider's discretion, based on the product used.

Yes. Microneedling creates controlled microchannels in the skin, stimulating your body's natural healing response — boosting collagen, elastin, and cell turnover. Over a series of three to six treatments, this can lead to visible improvements in texture, fine lines, and overall skin quality.

When combined with platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) — derived from your body's own natural growth factors — the treatment may further support the skin's regenerative process. As PRF is applied during microneedling, it can help enhance overall results, promoting healthier-looking, more radiant skin over time.

Yes. Because PRF uses your own blood, there's minimal risk of allergic reaction or rejection. The treatment involves a small blood draw followed by injections into the scalp. Most guests experience mild tenderness, redness, or swelling that resolves within a day or two. Your provider will review your medical history and provide personalized pre- and post-treatment instructions.

Yes — your safety comes first. All treatments are performed by licensed medical providers or clinical estheticians under the supervision of our medical directors, using FDA-approved devices and pharmaceutical-grade products. Every visit begins with a comprehensive medical intake and informed consent before any treatment. And we'll only recommend what's right for you — if a treatment isn't, we'll say so.

Dermal fillers are injectable gels — most commonly hyaluronic acid — that add volume, contour, and structure to specific areas of the face. They fill in lines, restore lost volume, define features, and lift areas the face has lost over time. Common families: Juvederm, Restylane, Belotero. Sculptra and Radiesse are biostimulators and work differently — they belong in their own category.

Exosomes are tiny extracellular vesicles that carry growth factors, proteins, and signaling molecules between cells. In aesthetic medicine, lab-derived exosomes (typically from stem cell sources) are applied topically after microneedling or laser work to amplify the healing response. The research is still developing — we use exosomes selectively, in combination with established treatments, when the science supports it.

Regenerative treatments use your body's own healing materials — or biological signals that activate them — to repair and rejuvenate tissue. The most common in our menu are PRP (platelet-rich plasma), PRF (platelet-rich fibrin), and exosome therapy. They work especially well when paired with microneedling, laser treatments, or scalp work.

Following your BBL treatment, you may notice mild redness and warmth in the treated area, similar to a light sunburn, which typically resolves within a few hours. Pigmented spots may temporarily darken before naturally flaking off over the following days — this is normal.

To keep your skin comfortable, you can apply a cold compress as needed during the first 12 to 24 hours. Avoid strenuous exercise, excessive heat, and activities that cause sweating until your skin has fully healed.

Keep your skincare routine gentle — cleanse twice daily with a mild cleanser and lukewarm water, using your hands only. Avoid scrubbing, exfoliating, or using active products until your skin has recovered. Apply a moisturizer regularly to keep your skin hydrated throughout the healing process.

Sun protection is essential. Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily, reapplying as needed, and avoid direct sun exposure for at least two weeks. We recommend a wide-brimmed hat or protective clothing.

As your skin heals, avoid exfoliation, harsh treatments, and swimming in pools or hot tubs. Your provider will guide you on when to resume your regular skincare routine and may recommend a personalized post-care regimen for your skin's needs.

Following your treatment, your skin may appear red and flushed — similar to a mild to moderate sunburn. These effects are temporary and typically resolve within a few hours to a couple of days.

You may gently cleanse your skin with a mild cleanser and warm water six hours after treatment. For the next 7 to 10 days, keep your routine simple with a gentle cleanser and moisturizer, avoiding active ingredients until your skin feels fully healed.

Sun protection is essential during this time. Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily, reapplying every two hours when outdoors, and avoid prolonged sun exposure for at least one week. We recommend a hat or protective clothing.

To support healing, avoid makeup and strenuous exercise for 24 hours, and stay out of pools, hot tubs, or open water if any irritation is present.

As your skin recovers, you can gradually return to your regular skincare routine. Your provider will guide you through a personalized post-care plan to support the best results and recovery.

Following your treatment, your skin will appear red and flushed — similar to a moderate sunburn. You may also experience mild swelling, pinpoint bleeding, warmth, tightness, and sensitivity in certain areas.

You may gently cleanse your face with a mild cleanser and warm water about four hours after treatment. For the next 7 to 10 days, stick to a simple routine with a gentle cleanser and moisturizer, avoiding active ingredients such as retinols, exfoliants, and acids. Daily SPF 30+ is essential, and we recommend wearing a hat and avoiding prolonged sun exposure during this time.

To support healing, avoid makeup and strenuous exercise for 24 hours, and stay out of pools, hot tubs, and open water for two to three days to reduce the risk of irritation or infection.

Also avoid harsh exfoliation for at least one week, keep your linens and makeup brushes clean, and limit direct contact with pets for the first few hours — especially sleeping with them the first night.

Following your Moxi treatment, it's normal to experience warmth, redness, and mild swelling as your skin begins its natural renewal process. The treated area may feel warm for several hours, with some residual heat lasting up to 24 hours. Redness can develop and may peak around day two or three, gradually improving over the course of the week.

You may also notice small, darkened spots or a bronzed appearance — often described as a "sandpaper" texture — beginning a few days after treatment. This is a normal part of healing — avoid picking or exfoliating your skin during this time.

For comfort, you can apply cold compresses during the first 24 hours, and consider sleeping slightly elevated for the first few nights if swelling occurs. Avoid strenuous exercise, excessive heat, swimming, and active skincare products until your skin has fully healed.

To support healing, keep your routine gentle. Cleanse twice daily with a mild cleanser and lukewarm water, using your hands only, and apply a moisturizer frequently to keep your skin hydrated. Daily sun protection is essential — use a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ and avoid direct sun exposure for at least two weeks. We recommend a hat or protective clothing.

As your skin recovers, you can gradually return to your regular skincare routine. Your provider will guide you through a personalized post-care plan to support the best results and recovery.

Following your injectable treatment, a few simple guidelines help you get the best results.

    For neuromodulator treatments:

    • Please remain upright for four hours after treatment, and avoid lying down or bending excessively.
    • Don't touch, massage, or apply pressure to the treated areas.
    • You can apply makeup gently. When cleansing or removing it, use a light touch — avoid rubbing, and wipe upward and away from treated areas such as the eyes and brows.
    • For the first 24 to 48 hours, avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, and activities that significantly raise your heart rate or body temperature, as well as heat exposure such as saunas, steam rooms, or hot tubs.
    • Wait at least 48 hours before any massages, facials, or waxing services.

    For dermal fillers:

    • Avoid any dental procedures for two weeks following treatment.
    • Don't massage or manipulate the treated area unless instructed by your provider.
    • You may apply a cold compress or ice pack intermittently for the first 24 hours to reduce swelling (avoid direct ice-to-skin contact).
    • Avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, NSAIDs, St. John's Wort, and vitamin E for two days after treatment to minimize bruising.
    • You may take acetaminophen/Tylenol for any mild tenderness or discomfort.
    • Avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, and excessive heat exposure (saunas, hot tubs, or hot showers) for 24 to 48 hours after treatment.
    • Makeup may be applied gently after 24 hours, but avoid rubbing or pressing the treated area.
    • Avoid massages, facials, or treatments that apply pressure to the face for two weeks.

Following your treatment, it's normal to experience mild swelling, redness, bruising, or tenderness in the treated areas, which typically resolves within a few days. You may also notice slight bruising at the blood draw site.

To support healing, avoid strenuous exercise, heat exposure (such as saunas or steam rooms), and swimming for at least 48 hours. It's also best to avoid alcohol, caffeine, and smoking for several days, as these can affect healing and overall results. Continue to stay well-hydrated and maintain a healthy diet to support your body's natural regenerative process.

For facial injections, you can apply a cold compress intermittently to help reduce swelling, and mild asymmetry or firmness in the treated areas is normal as the product settles. Avoid massaging or applying pressure to the area, and hold off on makeup and skincare products for at least 24 hours. Sun protection is essential — avoid direct sun exposure until any redness or swelling has resolved, and apply SPF 30+ daily.

If you've received PRF with microneedling, your skin may appear red and feel warm or sensitive, similar to a sunburn. Use only gentle skincare for 7 to 10 days, avoid active ingredients, and hold off on makeup, exercise, and water exposure (such as pools or hot tubs) for the first 24 to 72 hours.

For hair restoration treatments, keep your scalp clean and avoid styling products for the first day, resuming your normal routine gradually as directed by your provider.

Your provider will guide you through a personalized post-care plan based on your treatment, to support a smooth recovery and the best results.

Following your Sculptra treatment, a few simple guidelines help you get the best results.

    • Massage the treated area for five minutes, five times a day, for five days (unless directed otherwise).
    • Apply a cold compress intermittently for the first 24 hours to reduce swelling (avoid direct ice-to-skin contact).
    • Avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, and heat exposure for 24 to 48 hours.
    • Avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, NSAIDs, and certain supplements for 48 hours to minimize bruising.
    • Avoid dental work and treatments that apply pressure to the face (massages, facials) for two weeks.
    • Makeup may be applied gently after 24 hours — avoid rubbing or pressure.
    • Let your provider know about any worsening or prolonged symptoms.
    • Results develop gradually over several months and can last more than two years; your provider will recommend the appropriate treatment plan.

You'll leave with the VI Peel solution still on your skin, which may appear tan or slightly yellow. Wait at least four hours before washing your face.

In the first few days, you'll follow a simple post-care routine using the products in your VI Peel take-home kit to support the healing and peeling process. It includes a gentle cleanser, moisturizer, SPF, and post-peel towelettes, to be used as directed.

Peeling usually begins around day two or three, often starting near the mouth before progressing to other areas. Mild dryness, tightness, and itching are normal during this phase. Avoid picking or pulling at the skin, which can cause irritation or unwanted pigmentation — keep it well moisturized to stay comfortable.

During the peeling phase, avoid heat (such as saunas, steam rooms, and hot showers), excessive sweating, swimming, and direct sun exposure. Daily SPF 30+ is essential — keep up sun protection throughout the healing process. Also avoid other treatments, waxing, or active skincare products until your skin has fully healed.

Once peeling is complete — typically within five to seven days — you can gradually resume your regular skincare routine, giving it extra time if your skin still feels sensitive. Your provider will guide you on the best timing for your skin.

Genetics is the most common driver (androgenetic alopecia in both men and women). Other causes include hormonal shifts (pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, thyroid), stress (telogen effluvium), nutritional gaps, scalp inflammation, and certain medications. Identifying the cause matters — treatment for genetic thinning looks different from treatment for postpartum shedding.

Texture, fine lines, acne scarring (atrophic and rolling), enlarged pores, uneven tone, stretch marks, hair loss when done on the scalp. Less effective for active acne, deep static wrinkles, and severe skin laxity — other treatments handle those better. Your provider will tell you honestly when microneedling is right and when it isn't.

Topical minoxidil (Rogaine) — well-studied, works for both men and women. Scalp treatments and microneedling to improve scalp health. Supplements like nutrafol or viviscal in some cases. Prescription options (finasteride, spironolactone) where appropriate. Your provider will combine the tools that fit your specific cause of loss, not push a single answer.

Your skin is unique, and your routine should be too. A well-rounded approach typically includes a gentle cleanser, an antioxidant serum (such as vitamin C in the morning), a retinoid at night (introduced gradually), a barrier-supporting moisturizer, and daily SPF 30+.

Active ingredients like growth factors, peptides, and exfoliating acids can be layered in based on your needs. Our providers take a personalized approach, building a routine tailored to you without overcomplicating it or recommending more than necessary.

If your usual provider is unavailable or you need to be seen sooner, another member of our team can step in with full access to your treatment history. Our providers work collaboratively and follow consistent treatment standards and protocols, ensuring a seamless experience and continuity of care.

We offer a range of injectable treatments, tailored to your goals. Our neuromodulators — including Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin — soften fine lines and wrinkles by relaxing the underlying muscles. For volume restoration and facial balancing, we use the Juvéderm and Restylane families of dermal fillers. We also offer Sculptra, a biostimulator that gradually builds collagen for long-term improvement in skin structure and volume.

All injectables are FDA-approved and administered by licensed medical providers, for safe, precise, and natural-looking results.

Vampire facial is a popular term for PRP applied with microneedling. The microneedling creates micro-channels in the skin; the PRP — drawn from your own blood, processed in-office — is applied directly to those channels. The combination treats texture, scarring, fine lines, and overall skin quality. The name is dramatic; the treatment is straightforward.

Microneedling — also called collagen induction therapy — uses a device with tiny sterile needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin. The skin responds by ramping up its repair process: collagen, elastin, and healthier cell turnover. The result is firmer texture, smaller pores, softened scars, and better tone. Most guests do a series of three to six sessions.

milk + honey medSPA is our advanced skin and aesthetics practice, offered alongside our day spa. Our licensed providers — registered nurses, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants — deliver injectables, lasers, microneedling, and more in a calm, elevated environment. Every treatment begins with a personalized consultation, so we can understand your goals and build a plan around them. Our approach centers on natural, balanced results, with safety and care at the core.

PRF (platelet-rich fibrin) is an advanced regenerative treatment that uses a small sample of your own blood to create a concentrated solution of platelets, growth factors, and fibrin. When injected into the scalp, PRF supports follicle health and encourages natural hair growth. The fibrin matrix releases growth factors gradually over time, helping provide ongoing support to the hair follicle

Sculptra is a biostimulating injectable made from poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) that prompts your body's natural collagen production over time. It helps reinforce your skin's underlying structure and restore volume lost to aging.

Unlike hyaluronic acid-based fillers, which add immediate volume and contour, Sculptra works gradually — rebuilding your skin's foundation for natural, long-lasting results.

Your consultation gives you a clear understanding of your options, along with a plan tailored to your skin. Your provider will assess your facial anatomy, skin concerns, medical history, and goals, then recommend an approach that may include injectables, skin treatments, lasers, and medical-grade skincare. To make the most of your time, please complete any required forms before your reservation. You'll leave with guidance that fits your goals, timeline, and lifestyle — and a clear sense of what comes next.

We offer a range of clinically effective treatments, including injectables (neurotoxins, dermal fillers, and Sculptra), microneedling, Moxi, BBL, PRF therapy, medical-grade chemical peels, dermaplaning, and targeted protocols for concerns like acne, pigmentation, texture, and aging. Treatment availability varies by location, so please visit your local page to see what’s offered near you.

Aging is a gradual, layered process. Over time, we don't just see changes in our skin — we also lose collagen, fat, and bone, which affects the structure and support beneath it. Because of this, the most effective approach addresses multiple layers of aging, not just the surface.

A comprehensive treatment plan typically combines prevention, repair, and restoration. Daily SPF and medical-grade skincare help protect and maintain skin health, while treatments like microneedling, PRF, and laser therapies such as Moxi or BBL improve texture, tone, and overall skin quality. Neuromodulators help soften expression lines, while dermal fillers, EZ Gel, and Sculptra restore volume and support the skin's underlying structure.

Our providers take a personalized approach, combining the right treatments in the right sequence for natural, balanced, and long-lasting results tailored to you.

BBL (BroadBand Light), Moxi for tone and texture, laser hair removal for permanent reduction, and additional resurfacing lasers depending on location. Each device targets different concerns — BBL for pigment and redness, Moxi for resurfacing. The right device depends on what we're trying to change.

PRF — platelet-rich fibrin drawn from your own blood and processed in-office — is applied to the skin during and after microneedling. The micro-channels created by the needles allow PRF's growth factors to absorb directly into the skin, intensifying the healing response. Many guests see better results with PRF than with microneedling alone, especially for scarring and aging.

We understand plans can change, and we'll always do our best to work with you. A $75 fee applies to all medSPA cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice — including consultations and follow-ups — as well as same-day no-shows. If you're running late, please call us as soon as you can. We'll do what we can to accommodate you, whether that's rescheduling or adjusting your treatment to the time that's left.

BBL is the latest generation of intense pulsed light technology — a more precise, more controllable form of IPL. Both deliver broad-spectrum light, but BBL targets pigment and vessels more accurately with less collateral heat. We use BBL because the results are more consistent and the experience for the guest is more comfortable.

Botox and facials treat fine lines in different ways. Botox works beneath the surface by relaxing the muscles that cause expression lines, helping to smooth wrinkles like those on the forehead, between the brows, and around the eyes.

Facials, on the other hand, focus on the skin itself — improving hydration, texture, and overall tone. While they can soften the appearance of fine lines, they don't address the underlying muscle movement that causes them.

Together, they create a more comprehensive approach to skin health and aging.

Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin are all neuromodulators used to temporarily treat both dynamic and static wrinkles by relaxing the underlying muscles. While each product has slightly different characteristics, they share the same active ingredient, with variations in formulation and molecular structure. No single product is universally better than another, and your provider will recommend the best option for your goals and needs.

Neuromodulators like Botox temporarily relax the muscles that cause fine lines and wrinkles, commonly in areas like the forehead, frown lines, and crow's feet. Most dermal fillers are made with hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the body, and are used to restore lost volume and enhance facial features in areas such as the cheeks, lips, and jawline.

In simple terms: neuromodulators soften lines, while filler restores volume and structure. Many guests choose to combine both treatments, which can often be done in the same visit.

Both use components from your blood. PRP is centrifuged at higher speed and contains a higher concentration of platelets in a liquid form. PRF is processed differently — no anticoagulants, slower spin — and forms a more gel-like matrix with white blood cells, stem cells, and a slower release of growth factors. PRF tends to provide longer-lasting effects; PRP integrates faster.

Varies by device. BBL: a day of darker spots that flake off, some redness. Moxi: two to four days of bronzed, sandpaper-textured skin. Your provider sends a full pre- and post-care guide with your confirmation.

Expect swelling and possible bruising for two to seven days. Avoid workouts, heat, alcohol, and blood-thinning supplements for 24 hours. Don't apply heavy pressure to the area for a few days. Lips swell more than other areas — most guests have some asymmetry and puffiness for the first week. The final result settles around two weeks.

Day one: redness and tightness, like a moderate sunburn. Day two to three: light flaking, possible dryness, skin tightens as it heals. Day four to seven: skin looks refreshed, sometimes glowing. Avoid makeup, sun, retinoids, and active skincare for the first 24 to 72 hours. SPF for two full weeks after — non-negotiable.

Subtle, considered, additive over time. We don't want anyone walking out looking treated — we want you looking like yourself, with the volume back, the lines softened, the skin clearer. Our providers will tell you when a treatment isn't right, when less is more, and when the answer is patience instead of more product.

Earlier than you might think. Collagen production begins to decline in our mid-to-late 20s, and factors like sun exposure, lifestyle, and genetics can accelerate visible signs of aging — such as pigmentation, dullness, loss of elasticity, and early skin laxity.

In your 20s and 30s, prevention is key. Daily sunscreen, retinoids, and a consistent medical-grade skincare routine help protect and maintain skin health. Treatments like microneedling and gentle laser resurfacing can be introduced in your late 20s to support collagen production and improve overall skin quality.

Injectables are often considered in your early 30s and beyond, but timing is highly individual. Our providers take a personalized approach, helping you determine the right time and treatment plan based on your skin, goals, and lifestyle.

Lips, cheeks, under-eyes (tear troughs), nasolabial folds, marionette lines, jawline, and chin. Less common but powerful: temples, hands, and earlobes. The right map depends on your face — adding volume to one area can rebalance the whole picture. Less is almost always more in the first session.

Our medSPA is offered at most of our locations across Austin, Houston, Ft. Worth, Chicago, and Los Angeles. Service availability may vary, as certain treatments and devices are offered at select locations. Please visit your local page to see what’s available near you, or reach out and we’ll help guide you to the most convenient location.

Guests with mild-to-moderate texture, scarring, or fine lines respond strongly to PRP and PRF. Guests with active acne, certain blood disorders, or recent illness may need to defer. Hair loss candidates with active follicles do well with PRP. Your provider will assess at consultation and tell you honestly whether regeneratives are the right tool for your goals.

Our medical providers — registered nurses, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants — work under the supervision of our medical directors, so every treatment meets our standards for safety and clinical care. Chemical peels and microneedling are also performed by clinical estheticians under the same supervision. You can learn more about each provider's background, training, and specialties on our Providers page.

These treatments aren't recommended for guests who are pregnant or breastfeeding, have an active skin infection in the treatment area, are managing certain autoimmune conditions, or are taking specific medications. Certain allergies or recent dental work may also mean delaying treatment.

Your provider will review your full medical history during your consultation, and if a treatment isn't appropriate, we'll guide you toward safe, effective alternatives.

  • Nail Care

  • Gel itself isn't damaging — the damage usually comes from improper removal (picking, peeling, aggressive filing) or from going too long between services. Done well, with proper removal and breaks where needed, gel manicures are sustainable long-term. If your nails feel thin or weak, we'll suggest a break or a strengthening alternative.

Yes. We carry brands free of the most concerning ingredients — formaldehyde, toluene, dibutyl phthalate, camphor, formaldehyde resin, and others. Our brand list includes lines vetted for both performance and clean formulation. If a polish line doesn't meet the standard, we don't carry it.

Well-behaved guests aged 5 to 7 can receive buff + go or polish-change services. From age 7, a manicure, pedicure, or polish change is available with a parent or guardian on site. Pedicure eligibility depends on the child's height in relation to the chair. If multiple children are scheduled, each child needs their own adult. Guests 16 and older can come on their own.

Yes. If you have a specific polish you'd like to use — your own brand, a shade we don't carry — bring it in. Our nail technicians will apply it the same way they would our own. The only exception is products that don't meet our basic clean standard or that interact poorly with our base or top coats.

Two to three weeks for most guests. Some hold longer with gentle daily care — gloves for dishes, cuticle oil daily, avoiding harsh nail polish removers. Removal matters: gel must be soaked off properly, not picked or peeled — picking damages the natural nail underneath. Your nail provider will set you up with the right home care.

We offer manicure and pedicure experiences ranging from quick polish changes and Buff + Go services to our Signature, CBD, Lux, and Ultimate treatments, plus Healthy Gel manicures and pedicures for long-lasting wear. Every service includes thoughtful nail care, and many feature exfoliation, massage, hydrating treatments, and your choice of polish. We use clean, low-toxicity polish brands and sterilized tools for every guest. Children's nail services are available in accordance with the policies on our Spa Overview page.

Each service includes expert nail shaping, cuticle care, and your choice of polish. Signature is our classic manicure or pedicure with a relaxing massage. Lux adds exfoliation for softer, smoother skin. Ultimate includes everything in Lux plus a hydrating mask for our most nourishing and luxurious experience.

Healthy Gel services are also available for guests who prefer a durable, long-lasting gel finish.

  • Salon

  • Yes. Every stylist is licensed and most have advanced training in specific techniques (color theory, curl specialization, extensions, men's grooming) and brand certifications (DAVINES, KEVIN.MURPHY, K18, Virtue). We invest in ongoing education — what was best practice five years ago has often evolved. Our team trains continuously to stay current.

Yes — we offer clipper-style and scissor cuts for guests aged five and older. We don't perform haircuts for guests under five. Guests 16 and older can come on their own; younger guests need a parent or guardian on site for the full reservation.

Yes, please. Photos are the most reliable way to communicate what you're after — words like 'sun-kissed' or 'natural' mean different things to different people. Bring two or three reference images. Your colorist will tell you which parts of the photo are achievable on your hair and what may need to happen in stages.

Yes — many guests color their natural hair while extensions are in, especially for root touch-ups. Your colorist will protect the extensions and apply color only where it's safe. Full lightening services through extensions are harder; many guests sequence color before extensions for that reason.

Yes — most modern smoothing systems are color-safe and can even seal in color, extending its life. Some chemistry conflicts with very recent color (within two weeks), so timing matters. Your stylist will sequence your color and your smoothing for the best result on both.

Yes. We offer special event styling at every location and full bridal coordination — trials, day-of styling, bridal party. Reach out a few weeks in advance for any major event. Bridal weekends fill up; the earlier you reserve, the better the stylist match.

Yes. Most stylists maintain a portfolio — on their bio page, on their professional Instagram, or both. Many also have testimonials and before-and-after work. If you'd like to see specific examples of a technique you're considering, ask our front-desk team and we'll pull samples from the right stylist's portfolio.

Some stylists do both at a high level; others specialize in one or the other. If your stylist is a cutting specialist, you may want a separate colorist on your team. We'll help you build the right combination so you're seeing the right person for each service. Cross-coordination between your stylist and your colorist is normal here.

Yes. Our salon offers a range of restorative services — K18 treatments, deep conditioning, scalp work, bond-building services, and customized hair care plans. If your hair has been over-processed, your stylist will be honest about what's possible today and what we can build toward over the next few visits.

When applied and maintained correctly, no. Damage typically comes from extensions left in too long, improper hair care, or extensions that are too heavy for the natural hair to support. Our stylists weight extensions to your hair's density and check the bond at every fill. If your hair isn't a candidate, we say so before applying.

Most blowouts include the wash — come with hair however it is. If you're getting an express or styling-only service that skips the wash, we'll confirm at booking. For specific styling like updos, day-old hair often holds better than fresh-washed hair.

Yes. Balayage, foilyage, highlights, lowlights, glosses, color corrections, and full custom dimensional work. Our colorists are trained across both traditional and freehand techniques, and they tailor the approach to your hair type, your goals, and the maintenance schedule you can keep up with.

Yes. We offer bridal trials, day-of styling, and full bridal-party coordination across all our locations. Trial reservations are typically booked a few months before the wedding date. Reach out to our salon team early — bridal weekends fill up, and we want to make sure your stylist is the right match for your day.

Yes. Every location offers cuts for guests of every gender. Some stylists specialize in men's grooming — short scissor work, clipper fades, beard shaping. Browse the provider page or ask our front desk to match you with someone whose work fits what you're after.

Sulfate-free shampoo, gentle drying, no oil-based products at the bond, brush from the ends up, and protect your hair when you sleep (silk pillowcase or loose braid). Avoid heavy heat styling on the bond area. Your stylist will send you home with the specific routine for your method.

Browse our stylist bios on the salon page — each lists their specialties, training, and the work they're known for. If you're not sure, our front-desk team will walk you through the options and match you with the right fit. Many guests start with a consultation before booking a full color service.

Browse the provider bios on this page — each stylist lists their specialties, training, and the kind of work they're known for. If you're not sure, our front-desk team will help match you. Many guests start with a consultation before booking a major service. The fit matters as much as the technical skill.

Browse our salon provider page — each stylist's bio lists specialties (cuts, color, curls, men's grooming, bridal). If you're unsure, our front-desk team will help match you, often based on the kind of look you're after. First visits with a new stylist always start with a longer consultation.

The hair itself: six to twelve months with good care. The application: tape-ins need to be moved every six to eight weeks. Hand-tied and beaded wefts every six to ten weeks. Halos last as long as the hair does because they're not bonded — they sit on top. Each method has a maintenance rhythm; we'll set yours.

A cut and style runs 45 to 90 minutes depending on length and complexity. Single-process color is typically two hours. Balayage and dimensional work range from three to five hours. Smoothing treatments and extensions can run longer. We'll always confirm timing with you at booking so there are no surprises.

Many of our stylists have been with us for ten or more years. Continuity is one of the things we invest in deliberately — fair pay, ongoing education, real benefits. The result is a team that grows with the guests they serve. Most of our regulars have a stylist they've known for years.

Two to four days for most hair types. Sleeping with a silk pillowcase, dry shampoo on day two or three, and avoiding humidity all extend the life. Hair texture matters — fine, smooth hair holds longer; coarser or curlier hair often re-wave by day three. We'll talk through home maintenance during the service.

Three to four months for most guests. The smoothing relaxes gradually rather than dropping off at once. Sulfate-free, sodium-free shampoo extends the life of the treatment significantly — the wrong shampoo cuts the timeline in half. Your stylist will recommend the hair care that protects your investment.

Single-process: about two hours. Highlights or balayage: three to five hours depending on detail. Color correction: often longer, sometimes split across two visits. Glossing and refreshes: one to two hours. We confirm timing at booking so the schedule fits your day.

Extensions are a longer-term investment — the cost includes the hair itself plus the application labor. Pricing varies by method, hair length, and how much hair is used. Most guests do a complimentary consultation first to understand the full picture before committing. We'd rather be transparent up front.

Pricing varies by stylist level (senior, master, expert), hair length, and any add-on work. Most cuts run within a broader range depending on length and complexity. Pricing for your chosen stylist is shown at booking — no surprise charges at checkout. Members receive ongoing salon pricing benefits.

Single-process root touch-ups: every four to six weeks. Highlights or balayage: every eight to fourteen weeks, depending on placement and how dramatic the contrast is. Glosses: every four to six weeks to refresh shine and tone. Your colorist will set a maintenance schedule that matches your hair and your lifestyle.

Every six to eight weeks for short or layered cuts. Every eight to twelve weeks for longer hair maintenance. Growing it out? Every twelve to sixteen weeks for trims. The ideal timing depends on your hair type, style, and maintenance goals, and your stylist will help you determine what works best for you.

The formulations we use are formaldehyde-free or low-aldehyde, applied in well-ventilated spaces, processed within proven safety parameters. Older keratin systems used higher formaldehyde concentrations — those aren't what we use. Your stylist will confirm what's in the product before starting and answer any questions about the chemistry.

Professional-grade lines vetted by our stylists — DAVINES, K18, Virtue, Milbon, and others. Every product we sell is one our team uses in the chair. If a product doesn't earn its place on our shelves, it doesn't make it onto your shelves either.

Keratin treatments (formaldehyde-free options), conditioning glosses, K18 bond-repair treatments, deep masks and scalp work, and select smoothing systems depending on location. Every stylist is trained on which treatment fits which hair type — not every smoothing service is right for every guest.

Bring inspiration photos. The consultation matters more than usual — your stylist will talk through whether the look fits your hair type, your face shape, your maintenance window, and whether it makes sense to make the change in stages. We'd rather have an honest conversation than make a change you'll regret.

If you've worked with someone before, we'll check their schedule first. If they're not available in your window, we can put you on a waitlist or match you with a stylist who works similarly. Notes on your file ensure continuity — your hair history travels with you.

Single-process color, dimensional highlights, balayage and foilyage, lowlights, color corrections, glosses and toners, gray blending, color refreshes, and full custom work. Our colorists work across traditional and freehand techniques and will pick the right approach for your hair, your goals, and the maintenance you can keep up with.

Cuts and styling for all hair types, single-process and dimensional color, balayage, highlights, glosses, blowouts, keratin and smoothing treatments, scalp treatments, extensions, and bridal styling. Our salon stylists work across modern and classic techniques and tailor every service to the hair in front of them.

Inspiration photos help your stylist match what you're after. If you're styling for a specific outfit or event, bringing a photo of the outfit (or the neckline, at minimum) lets your stylist build the right shape. Hair that's clean but not freshly washed (24 hours out) holds styling better than just-shampooed hair.

Blowouts (express and full), straightening services, curling and wave styling, updos for special events, partial styling (just the front, just the ends), and special event styling including bridal. Our stylists are trained across heat tools — round brush, flat iron, curling iron, wand — and on hair types from fine and straight to thick and curly.

Tape-in, hand-tied wefts, beaded wefts, and halo extensions depending on location and stylist specialty. Each method has a different application process, longevity, and maintenance cycle. Your stylist will recommend the right method based on your hair density, your lifestyle, and the look you're after.

A gloss is a semi-permanent color treatment that refreshes tone, adds shine, and refines color between bigger services. Glosses tone brassiness, deepen color, refresh ends, and add a layer of conditioning. Most guests who color their hair benefit from a gloss every other appointment — small commitment, big impact.

Every cut starts with a consultation — your stylist asks about your hair history, what you wear daily, how much time you actually have in the morning, and what's working or not working. The cut, wash, blowout and finishing style are included. Your stylist will also recommend hair care so the cut keeps its shape between visits.

K18 is a peptide-based bond-repair treatment, not a smoothing service. It works inside the hair structure to repair broken bonds from color, heat, and chemical damage. It pairs well with smoothing services and with color — many of our stylists layer K18 into the routine. The in-salon application is different from the at-home mask we carry in the shop.

Keratin treatments rebuild and smooth the hair using keratin protein and a heat-activated bond. Smoothing treatments are a broader category — some are keratin-based, others use different chemistry. Brazilian blowout is one specific smoothing brand. Your stylist will pick the right system for your hair type, color, and how dramatic a smoothing you're after.

Express is faster, focused on the surface — quick wash, fast dry, smooth finish. Full includes more thorough sectioning, more time on shape and volume, often a more polished result. Express is the right call when you need to look good for a few hours; full is the right call when you want it to last.

Modern color, applied correctly, with the right at-home support, can be done without significant damage. Lightening services (highlights, balayage, going much blonder) carry the most risk. We layer in K18, bond-builders, deep conditioning, and post-color care to protect the hair. The right hair care between visits is the multiplier.

  • Membership

  • Yes. After your initial three-month term, you can pause your membership for up to 90 days — for a move, a pregnancy, a season when life gets full — and pick back up when you're ready. You can also cancel anytime after those first three months, and any unused Wellness Bank funds stay on your account. Reach out to our reservations team and we'll walk you through your options.

Your core benefits — your monthly deposit, member savings, and Wellness Bank — are tied to your account. But sharing is built in: with our Family Plan, Lux members can add one user and Ultimate members can add two, so they share your member savings and Wellness Bank. You also get a monthly guest pass to share your discount with someone you bring in.

Yes. Your membership and your Wellness Bank work across all ten of our locations. If you travel, move, or just want to try a different location, your membership comes with you.

You can join at the front desk on your next visit, online at milkandhoneyspa.com, or by phone with our reservations team. We'll walk you through the tiers, the deposits, and how the Wellness Bank works. Most members say signing up takes less than 10 minutes.

You choose a monthly tier — Signature, Lux, or Ultimate. Each month, your deposit lands in your Wellness Bank, which you can use on any spa, salon, or medSPA service or product — or let it roll over for a bigger reservation later. Members also save on every visit and earn points toward rewards, plus other exclusive perks throughout the year.

If you visit milk + honey more than once every two months, yes. Your monthly deposit is yours to spend, member savings bring down what you pay, and the Wellness Bank means you never lose the value of a month you skip. For guests who treat self-care as part of their routine, the membership makes the math easy.

The milk + honey Wellness Membership is a monthly program that makes regular self-care more sustainable. Each month, your deposit goes into your Wellness Bank — a balance that rolls over, never expires, and is yours to use on any service or product. Members also save on every visit and earn points toward rewards. It's our most-used way to come in regularly without overthinking it.

The Wellness Bank is where your monthly deposit lives — yours to use on any service or product, whenever you'd like. It rolls over month to month and never expires, so you never lose unused funds. Members often save up for longer reservations, medSPA treatments, or seasonal services that take more time.

  • Careers

  • We hire licensed professionals for all treatment-room roles, including new graduates in good standing with their state and professional boards. For front-desk, spa attendant, and corporate roles, we hire across experience levels. Specific licensing and experience requirements are listed on each role page.

Yes. Full-time team members (28+ hours per week) are eligible for health benefits, paid time off, 401(k) participation with company matching, and ongoing education support. Continuing education matters in our work, so we invest in training, certifications, and advanced courses to keep our team's skills sharp throughout their careers.

Part-time team members (fewer than 28 hours per week) are eligible to participate in our 401(k) program with company matching.

Absolutely. Many of our team members started in provider, front-desk, or support roles and have grown their careers with us. We believe in developing talent from within and creating opportunities for continued growth.

Visit our careers page to browse open roles by location and department. Each listing includes the full role description, required qualifications, and an application form. We review applications regularly, and our talent team will follow up within one to two weeks if your background aligns with the role. If there isn't an immediate match, we keep your application on file and often reconnect with candidates when new opportunities become available.

It varies by role, but typically includes an initial conversation with our talent team, interviews with the hiring team, and — for provider positions — a practical assessment. We'll walk you through each step so you know what to expect.

Open roles change frequently across our ten locations in Austin, Houston, Fort Worth, Chicago, and Los Angeles. Our careers page is the most accurate source — you can filter by city, role, and department. If you don't see your dream role open, you can still submit your information and we'll keep it on file.

We hire across every part of the business — massage therapists, estheticians, nail technicians, and hair stylists; physician assistants and nurse practitioners for our medSPA team; front-desk and spa attendants; and leadership and corporate roles. Open positions vary by location, and current openings are listed on our careers page.

Our team has been with us a long time — several providers and stylists for more than a decade. We invest in their growth, pay fairly, and build our culture around the work itself. The work is real — the hours can be long, the standards are high — and the people who thrive here value both craft and care.

We're committed to an environment that's inclusive for every guest and every team member. Our service providers are described in the booking process by their self-identified gender. We expect mutual respect from everyone in our spaces — guests and team alike — and we reserve the right to address conduct that doesn't meet that standard.

No. Your milk + honey gift card doesn't expire — use it whenever the time feels right. You can check anytime in the milk + honey App under your Account, or just ask us — we're always happy to help you look it up.

In person, simply let us know at the front desk when you arrive, and we'll apply it for you. You do not need to enter the information ahead of time when you are booking your service online.

During select holiday seasons, when you spend $300 in gift certificates, you can get a $50 bonus which expires 90-days from purchase — yours to keep or to give. This amount may vary based on the holiday and specific promotion. This is not an ongoing offer year round.

Physical gift cards arrive within 5–7 business days via USPS (shipping from Texas). Total delivery time is approximately 8–10 business days from purchase. Expedited shipping and tracking are not available. If you'd rather not wait, you're welcome to pick one up at any milk + honey location.

Both carry the same value — it's really about how you'd like to give it. A digital gift card arrives by email, so it's the right choice when you're giving from afar or a little last-minute. A physical, handwritten card is a wonderful thing to hand someone in person, but will take longer to ship.

You choose. Send it straight to your recipient, or to yourself to give in person. Digital cards are delivered by email, usually within a few minutes of your order.

Please submit your inquiry to us at wholesale@milkanehoney.com.

We use both plastic and glass packaging. Dark glass is the best material to store products with high concentrations of essential oils. However, in some cases, we believe glass packaging is not a feasible option (e.g., some bath products in glass present a safety issue with the high probability of breakage in a wet environment).

DAVINES, Skinceuticals, K18, OSEA, Virtue, Colorescience, and more. These are professional-grade lines vetted by our esthetician, medSPA, and salon teams. We don't carry a brand because it's trending — we carry it because our team uses it and it earns its place.

We first recommend contacting the place of purchase to discuss their return / refund policy. Otherwise, please be sure to include a copy of your receipt or order confirmation when contacting us at ordersupport@milkandhoney.com.

Our Extra Strength and Cream Deodorants have baking soda in the formula, whereas our Baking Soda-Free formulas do not. The difference between the Extra Strength and Cream Deodorants is mostly the scents and packaging. The Extra Strength Deodorants are a roll-on formula. Our Cream Deodorants are in a jar and must be applied with your fingers.

Our Subscribe & Save program offers a 15% discount on recurring orders delivered every one to six months, based on your preference. Subscriptions ship within one business day and include free shipping on every recurring order with no promotional code required.

Our own milk + honey product line (body, skin, and bath) plus carefully selected professional-grade brands — Skinceuticals, OSEA, Senté Labs, Colorescience, K18, DAVINES, Virtue, and others. Every product on our shelves has been vetted by our team and is one we use in the treatment room ourselves.

Unused and unopened products can be returned within 30 days of the original purchase for a full refund to the original payment method. If your purchase is more than 30 days old or has been opened, reach out to info@milkandhoneyspa.com and a manager will walk through your options.

Online orders can be returned within 15 days after delivery. Please reach out to ordersupport@milkandhoney.com for orders placed on milkandhoney.com.

You can find an exhaustive ingredient list on every product label. Additionally, each product page on milkandhoney.com features ingredients, benefits, and instructions.

Your spa account and log in is separate from online product purchases.

Irritation may occur if applied to broken skin or if applied immediately after shaving. However, an irritation could be a sign of your skin’s pH adjusting to the alkalinity of the baking soda in our deodorant.

While most people tolerate the baking soda ingredient, some people develop a sensitivity to it. Skin is resilient and adaptive, but if you experience irritation, limit use, alternate with our Baking Soda-Free formula, or discontinue use.
