What does the green tint do? The green tint helps visibly neutralize redness and create a more even-looking complexion.

Who should use UV Skin Recovery Green Tint SPF 50? It is ideal for sensitive, redness-prone, rosacea-prone, or post-procedure skin.

Does the green tint stay green on the skin? No. The tint blends into the skin and is designed to reduce the appearance of redness rather than leave a green cast.

Can it be worn instead of foundation? Many users wear it alone for redness correction and light complexion enhancement.

Is it suitable for compromised skin barriers? Yes. The formula was developed to help support and recover stressed skin.

Can it be used after dermatological procedures? Yes. It is commonly recommended for post-procedure skin when approved by a physician.

Is it fragrance-free? Yes. The formula is designed for sensitive skin and does not contain added fragrance.

Will it clog pores? No. It is non-comedogenic.

I left my EltaMD sunscreen out in the heat. Will this ruin the product? High temperature may cause the ingredients to separate or appear “unblended”. However, the sun protection properties are not affected by temperatures up to 122 degrees F (50 degrees C), the maximum at which the product is tested. Exposure to higher temperatures is a misuse of the product.

Why is zinc oxide used in EltaMD sunscreens? Zinc oxide is a natural mineral that is safe even on the most sensitive skin, including post-procedure skin and even that of children 6 months or older. Zinc oxide blocks UVB (burning) and UVA (aging) rays that have been linked to photoaging and skin cancer.

Is the vitamin E in EltaMD sunscreens gluten-free? To the best of our knowledge, the vitamin E in EltaMD sunscreens is gluten-free.
