What is SKINVIVE?

Get healthy, hydrated, glowing skin from within! SKINVIVE is the first and only FDA-approved hyaluronic acid (HA) microdroplet injectable within the US designed to improve skin quality and smoothness of the cheeks. This treatment is often referred to as a ‘skin booster’ rather than a dermal filler as it adds hydration vs. adding volume or definition.

Who is an ideal candidate?

What does the treatment entail and is there downtime?

Our medical providers will conduct a personalized assessment to determine if SKINVIVE is right for their patient. Following this, our providers will first apply a topical lidocaine cream to the treatment area and allow that sit for about 15-20 minutes. Once the area is numb, the provider will then inject the product superficially into the cheeks in a grid-like pattern. The treatment itself typically takes 30 minutes.

One of the greatest benefits of this treatment is that there is little to no downtime! Patients can expect to experience mild swelling and/or bruising and should refrain from heavy exercise, makeup application, or prolonged sun exposure 24 hours following their treatment.

When can I expect to see results and how long will they last?

It is important to recognize that this treatment is not a dermal filler and will not add volume to the face. In clinical studies, patients who were treated with SKINVIVE reported high satisfaction with how glowing, hydrated, refreshed, and healthy their skin looked through 6 months. Patients can expect to see a slight ‘plumping’ effect following their treatment however full results can take up to 4 weeks to see. Some patients may also require multiple treatments based on overall severity and their goals - this will be determined by their medical provider.
