Feet First
You can’t take the sticky heat out of Texas, and most beauty-conscious residents
have come to terms with the stifling humidity. To beat the heat, they visit Bayer,
who serves up the Peppermint Pedi. Clients soak their wilted feet in water infused
with peppermint essential oils, followed by lotions and a mask blended with
stimulating peppermint as well. “This is a great treatment in Austin when it’s hot,
hot, hot outside,” says Bayer. “Tootsies feel fresh and tingly.”
