Karmin
1-Im originally from Tamaulipas, Mexico.
2-My favorite thing to do around town is try different restaurants for different taste of foods from other countries.
3-I decided to be a Hairstylist because I have natural talent for creativity. Its absolutly easy for me to create new techniques and new colors. And all the other subjects at school I was pretty bad on them, specially math.
4-My favorite wellness tip is.." everything you put inside your body is what is going to show outside. Eat healthy with lots of calcium for healthy hair and nails"
5-One talent I have nobody knows ..lol...it could be flipping a soccer football with my feet and catch it back with my feet only.
6-3 people I would have dinner with is...my daughter, my husband and Jesus, I would ask lots and lots of questions to this wise man.
7- I really dont watch TV much, but maybe CSI miami
8-I dont read much, but if I had to pick one book...would be..the bible...its full of great stories that are actually real and leave me full of hope. I love the movies about the bible too...they are incredible far more great than any movie out there or book ever written...

What is your favorite thing to do in/around town? I love being outside with my dog. We often go to the Houston Arboretum & Nature Center for long walks.
Why did you decide to become a hair stylist? I started in the industry as a special effects makeup artist working on a lot of funky projects. As much fun as it was, a lot of times people were looking to hire someone that could also do hair, so I went back to school for cosmetology. I wasn't interested initially, but grew to love it while I was in school. The more I did it, the more I wanted to learn, the more I wanted to be better, and now I can't imagine doing anything else. You get the opportunity to create something new everyday, and seeing the happy faces on my clients is what keeps me here!
Do you have any pets? I have a beautiful 2 year old border collie/lab mix named Bonnie. She's my everything! What is your favorite beauty or wellness tip? For all my fellow lazy girls out there, dry shampoo at night, have fabulous hair in the morning. It will get you the most out of your blow drys. I couldn't live without it!
