Tell our followers a little about yourself:
I currently oversee brand and community at lululemon for the entire Southwest Area (Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Nevada, and Hawaii). The best part of my job is connecting with creative, active, curious, and forward-thinking humans who care about building community and changing the way we think about wellness— it's for everyone.
I’m working on Level 1 Sommelier Certification because I’m fascinated by the world of wine. I love to cook, host, and entertain. I have a deep affinity for comedy and comedy writing— a dream of mine would be spending a week in the SNL's writers room. I enjoy running and have made a commitment to move my body #EveryDamnDay.
Also, I make a mean Negroni.
Smell
My room is a scent mecca. It's a mix of:
Le Labo's Santal 26 Candle - I know, I know, how original.
milk + honey's Home Fragrance Nº 08 - doubles as a linen spray for me.
Maison Francis Kurkdjian’s Aqua Universalis Laundry Detergent - I use it for all of my linens— feels like such a luxury.
Sight
I recently purchased Bobby Hundred's This is Not a T-Shirt: A Brand, a Culture, a Community--a Life in Streetwear and it's been such a fun read. He recently launched a Food Festival in Los Angeles and I just love what he's up to. Otherwise, I don't read much in the bath aside from product labels (which, I can't be the only one who does this.)
Touch
If you haven't tried Le Labo's Hinoki / Macadamia shampoo and conditioner, add it to your shopping cart immediately— it's heavenly. I'm also known for dropping a few big scoops of milk + honey's Muscle Soak into the tub after a good three-mile run. A few years ago, I stayed at The Four Seasons Maui and bought their bathrobe because it felt so silky smooth against my sunburnt skin, so I'll throw that on while I lay on top of my bed and scroll the 'gram until it's time to get up and be productive post-bath.
Taste
Scribe's Carneros Pinot Noir is on heavy rotation for me right now. I like it slightly chilled while it's still high 90s in Austin. Or a salty Pet Nat rose, like Texas' own from William Chris Vineyards. I haven't taken a Negroni into the bath with me yet, but I wouldn't put it past me down the road.
Listen
The Obamas’ Summer Playlist is so good. My pal, Austin, also recently turned me onto Lucky Daye, so I've added him to my rotation, with a bit of Lord Huron and Taylor Swift.
