#ArtOfTheBath: Rise and Shine
Some mornings are harder than others to get out of bed. Perhaps you stayed up too late scrolling through TikTok or maybe you’re simply not a morning person. Either way, I can relate. As a self-proclaimed nightowl, I’ve found that setting routines for the AM can change my perspective in the morning. Before quarantining, I found a yoga or Soulcycle class to be motivating, so I figured why not give the #ArtOfTheBath a shot? After much research, I present to you #AOTB: rise + shine edition.
Smell
For a fast-acting wake-up call, set the mood with citrus scents. Our Nº35 Essential Oil Candle has your back with a blend of blood orange, ginger, and lemongrass. It’s made with a blend of coconut wax and soy wax so you’re not filling your space with toxins as you burn.
Sight
Give yourself some space in the morning to avoid emails, texts, and social media updates. I know, I know… it’s hard! But if you’re making time for yourself, allow it to be all yours. Instead, try The Five Minute Journal, which allows you to set intentions for the day and reflect on the things in your life that fill you with gratitude.
Touch
For this #AOTB, I’m going to suggest a cocktail of sorts. It’s simple: one part Bath Bomb Nº08, one part Bath + Body Oil Nº 14. Both are lavender-forward essential oil blends, with Nº14 adding chamomile and neroli to the mix and Nº08 bringing a touch of eucalyptus. If paired with our aforementioned Nº35 candle, you’ve created a triple threat. The oil is a powerful hydrator for dry skin and bath bombs are, well, fun. (Obviously.)
Taste
Awaken your senses with a fruit-forward kombucha that will make your gut happy, too. If you’re in Austin, my personal favorite is Kosmic’s Black Magic. The organic elixir combines blackberries, raspberries, spirulina, ginger, and agave. Do your tastebuds prefer to awaken to caffeine? Fair enough. Contrast your warm bath with this delicious cardamom-date coffee recipe.
Listen
Here are 25 joyful songs handpicked by our team. The playlist was curated to promote pure joy as you go on this rollercoaster of nostalgia mixed with newer songs. In short — it's a fun way to start your day.
